The Coffee Roastery - Fairfax

The staff had a very poor attitude towards the many dissatisfied customers, including a mix of different individuals and snobby patrons. Despite my attempts to be polite and respectful, the workers seemed to respond with disdain and reluctance. While the coffee was excellent, the negative energy stemming from some of the Latino employees towards those outside their culture was noticeable, suggesting a deeper issue related to cultural tensions in America. In many ways, their home countries have faced challenges as well. We should all strive to recognize our shared humanity and treat one another with respect. Fairfax has changed quite a bit over the last 15 years, and not for the better.

I visited this place to purchase some light roast espresso beans. The service was great, and the barista was knowledgeable. I enjoyed a beautifully textured espresso shot that had fruity notes. They even included a complimentary drip coffee, which I didn't end up drinking. The only downside was the price.

Excellent coffee. Great pastries and quiches. Wonderful breakfast sandwiches. Nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating available.

Great coffee. Best coffee we had in 7300 miles of travel across the country.
