J C Teriyaki - Ewing

This is one of my favorite places to visit! I often order the hibachi scallops and shrimp platter. Food: 5/5.

The food is quite tasty overall. However, the fried dishes, including the fish, could use a bit more seasoning. It would also be great to have an alternative gravy option, like chicken or turkey, in addition to the beef gravy. Aside from those points, everything else is pretty good.

I ordered fried chicken wings, fish, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese, but unfortunately, none of the dishes had any flavor. To be honest, I felt like asking for a refund. I wouldn't return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone. The food lacked any soul. Rating: 1/5.

The H1 Hibachi Chicken is amazing, and the portions are quite generous. Definitely worth the money!

The corn was a bit too chewy, and I'm not sure what happened to the yams—they used to be fantastic, but now they taste like just plain baked or boiled sweet potatoes. In our previous order, the lima beans were also quite hard. I’m sharing this feedback so that you’re aware; if no one speaks up, how will you know? I truly enjoy your restaurant.
