Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic, old-world feel that transports you to another time. Despite it being a quiet, snowy day, the food was excellent. The fresh, delicious bread and homemade minestrone were highlights, as were the exceptional shrimp. To top it off, the waiter surprised us with a delightful dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning.
