Applebee's Grill - Eureka

The kids enjoyed their meal, and the food quality was reliable. However, our table wasn’t cleaned beforehand, so I had to use a napkin to wipe it down myself. Additionally, after our meals arrived, I had to go look for silverware since it wasn’t provided until then. Also, there were no plates or silverware available for the appetizers.

I had the most incredible burger today at Applebee's! I ordered the new Mushroom Swiss burger, which came topped with grilled onions and mushrooms. I even added a touch of honey BBQ sauce! About an hour later, I found myself craving another one, even though I was still stuffed! I also tried the cinnamon swirls, and they were absolutely amazing!

The ordering process took 20 minutes. We ordered appetizers along with our drinks, and the kids decided to place their dinner orders at the same time. I specifically requested that the appetizers be served first. After 10 minutes, we still hadn't received our drinks. It wasn't until 20 minutes later that the drinks finally arrived. Then, 15 minutes after that, all the food arrived at once! To top it all off, we were missing utensils, which took an additional 5 minutes to get.

Usually we have a nice meal, no drama, no problem. Our waitress this evening was Chantel... wonderful young woman, lots of energy, efficient, friendly... very welcoming. She was 5 stars?. My ordered the prime rib French dip. Have had it many times,prefer it with no cheese, no grilled onions, no mayo.... very plain and yummy. But the bun came burnt BLACK all around theedges. Requested to return it to the kitchen and the cooks response was to send a second bun so I had to remake the sandwich atthe table myself. That seemed a little weird to me.

Food and Drinks mediocre, server was flustered with only 3 tables. Mashed potatoes were cold, soup came with Dinner. $131.00 20 for the tip she didn't earn or deserve. The rest of the staff was pleasant and helpful. As a server/bartender myself I havea lot of patience and understanding for my fellow servers and wait and bar staff. She judged us the minute we sat down. I wasmore upset over the food (sides) being cold, and not being able to let the server know because she ignored us.
