Fresh Freeze Drive-in - Eureka

First time we've tried this place. Love most of it! So excited they have malts then so disappointed it's not on the menu on DD! Luckily they allow special instructions so we asked for malt on there. I'm not sure if they did, but the caramel shake or caramel malt is DELICIOUS! Chicken tenders were pretty good, and LOVED the fries it came with. Fried zucchini was good. Bacon chili dog was a gamble was unfortunately spicy for me huge mess; the hot dog itself I liked. The sea burger had tasty fish filets, but the leaf of lettuce was all cooked/gross/slimey and soaked up most of the mayo so it needs fixing up, would go for fish chips next time.

Probably one of the best burgers I've had here in Eureka, I order the Humboldt and it was delicious, juicy and big, double patties, melted cheese, all the necessary's for a great hamburger. I've made it a point to try hamburgers from different restaurants here in Eureka and Fresh Freeze has by far the best for the best price.

The food and service are just as you would expect. Quick and friendly, with that deliciously indulgent, slightly messy charm—but in a pleasant way. The place is also very clean. My granddaughter loved it!

This restaurant is a iconic spot in Eureka, CA. Since 1951, it has been known for its tasty burgers, fries, and frozen desserts. I have fond memories of enjoying their soft serve ice cream when I was just 7, and I still return for the ice cream and malts. The experience is always fun, set in a charming retro atmosphere. Thank you, Eureka Fresh Freeze, for preserving this beloved tradition!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this restaurant. I expected the food to be greasy, but it wasn't at all. I visited during burger week and tried their jalapeño poppers ranch burger, which was delicious! Their fries were also crispy and fresh. I noticed many couples on dates, which gave the place a charming 50s vibe. It was adorable!
