Pier 6 Rooftop Bar Restaurant - Erie

A few weeks ago I enjoyed a lovely dinner with a beautiful sunset in the back it is now one of my favorite spots in Erie. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff was friendly helpful, will definitely be going to again!

We made reservations for brunch. Upon arrival, we waited for over 20 minutes for a waiter and drinks. Then when it was time to order, they were out of SEVERAL of their brunch items. Two of us ordered a breakfast bowl which was supposed to have eggs, avocado, corn, jalapeños, and home fries. The bowls came full of potatoes, two overcooked eggs and NOTHING else. The kicker was when we paid, one of us paid with cash for a $21 meal using $30 and the waitress didn't return change when she brought our other cards back, she just gave him a receipt making the presumption he was tipping her the change i suppose. I had been there for lunch and dinner and it was usually OK, but this was awful.

Love the convenience of this restaurant when staying on the Erie Bayfront . The views are spectacular, watching the sailboats as the sun sets over the water. Not sure if they take reservations, but there was a 30-minute wait for an outdoor table. They use a texting system to let you know when the table is ready, so there is little inconvenience. The service was on the slow side, which is not bad when you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. I ordered the Pretzel Sticks as an appetizer, and they were excellent. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich featured a wimpy chicken breast seasoned Cajun-style that was really salty. It was served with fries. The food was priced reasonably and the overall experience was solid.

Our food arrived hot, exactly as described and was well prepared. Excellent service by our waitress Taylor. Good beer selection on tap. Beautiful sunset.

Beautiful view and nice atmosphere. The waitress was nice but possibly understaffed. Food was good but not much variety. Not quite what we expected.
