Bidrage med feedbackThe food was not fresh, and the portions were extremely small. The pitas weren't even warmed up. Additionally, a 20 percent tip was already included in the bill! The service was quite poor as well. I would not recommend this place at all. Overall, it was very disappointing.
I just want to share my experience and clarify that it's absolutely possible to be American and enjoy this cuisine, despite what a previous reviewer claimed. They might have just had an off day or expected something different—who knows? But the food I had was outstanding, no matter where you’re from. I ordered the shish kebab, which on its own wasn’t anything special, but when paired with the yogurt sauce, it was heavenly. And the baklava? It was simply perfect—definitely the best I've ever tasted! To be fair, I don't often eat baklava because I find that it tends to be too sweet at most places, so if you have a sweet tooth, this might not be for you. I don’t visit frequently since I moved from Erie to Pittsburgh some time ago, but I felt compelled to leave a positive review after reading that negative comment about Americans not appreciating this place. As an American who loves it, I just want to say, if you don’t like the food, that’s completely valid—just express your own opinion without assuming for others.
The food is excellent, and the dining experience is enjoyable. There's a lovely patio in the back that’s great when the weather is nice.
Very, very beautiful place, relaxing food excellent
I'm not sure how there could have been so many five-star reviews. On a Saturday night at seven p m, this place was totally empty. Takeout dish, vegetables were mushy and flavorless with 3 small pieces of meat. Totally dissatisfied and hungry. I'm sorry to waste my hard earned money. This food may b e for some people, but not Americans. Ethically, these reviews are supposed to be honest and not deceived people.
