Of the multitude of diners around here, Trivet is one of the better ones. It doesn't hurt that my grandfather used to take me here with his war buddies when I was a kid.

Great food, awesome service, and our food came out fast. Love it!

Having celiac disease I rarely deviate any place I go to eat. After our favorite restaurant was so packed we decided to stop at Trivet. I told our waitress that I have to eat gluten free, so I just ordered a burger without the bun. Told her I brought my own gf burn. She seemed to listen and then said I don’t know what gluten is. I was getting scared when she said that but I’ve eaten many burgers bringing my own rolls. When she brought my burger out it was on their wheat bun. I just think even diners employees need to be informed of gluten issues. The only good thing was that I wasn’t charged for it.

Dry cakes, canned food put on your plate, just add water mash potatoes the fish looks like plastic this place is like a senior home that promises gourmet food and it’s all cafeteria style.
