I went for the Curry Night option that included a choice of two curries, wobbly bhajis reis and naan. the Butternuss pumpkin dhansak with kicherbsen was beautiful, like the Goan king prawn curry, although the garnel not king size by her standards! neither the dish was particularly sharp, the naan and bhaji were in order without being exceptional. the chicken chicks and the leaking pie looked great and went well down.

Visited here with my mother for a quiet lunch. this is one of our favorite places to dinate. the pub is traditional old style with a lot of charm. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. eating and drinking quality was perfect and we enjoyed our lunch. a special thank you to leah, our server, who has made a space available on error-free service and felt most welcome.

Visited with three for a pub lunch, which looked especially in the midday menu. when it was about taking our order, we were advised that a series of articles were not available in the menu without offering substitute dishes. our meals were satisfactory, the service was polite and there was a nice atmosphere. when it was about to present our bill, it was wrong, as it showed that for some of our meal from the main menu and not the lunch menu, which were much more expensive. it was sorted out, after a bit of death and frozen, and apologise offered. it was a shame that they couldn't get it first, especially when we ordered that we wanted the lunch menu. we wanted to eat a good lunch as we were; more profitable. it was a disappointing visit. since this pub is a central point, however, as we all came from different directions that we agreed, we would be willing to give him another chance, in the hope that it will then be better in the whole round.

Great food. great place. only the thing was service was very slow. nice waiter staff polite enough of them for a Thursday afternoon. only 2! and 1 of them ran the cash.

I had the most beautiful meals at all, even the chips were delicious and I am usually not a lover of chips. very friendly staff was also the service excellent. we will mark this place down to come back whenever we are in this area.
