Restaurant with warm decor and very friendly welcome. the card makes the nice part of the steaks, T-Bones, nets. excellent meat, careful presentation and, little more, you can take your own bottle (s) of wine. About $60 per person.

Nice atmosphere, tables close together, original art on the walls and friendly staff welcome you as you enter Chantal’s Steak House. BYOB with only $1 corkage!Good salad, fresh homemade crusty bread, and an amuse bouche were served before the main courses. We chose the ribs and the seafood crepes passing on the renowned steak. Unfortunately, the ribs were black and yes, the sugar had turned. The meat was a little dry and overcooked. All in all, a nice restaurant stop on our trip across New Brunswick to Ontario

First off the service was quite good, the menu interesting and the prices more than acceptable. The fact that you can bring your own wine us also a plus. The quality of the food was very good but the portions are huge and the plating is very outdated (full rack of lamb with the rosemary branch and bottled mint jelly,) shrimp and scallop with the surf and turf in loads of garlic butter. The place would have received full marks if the plating could be improved, portions reduced a bit in size.

We stopped into Chantal's while overnighting in Edmunston on our way back from Nova Scotia to Ontario.While vacationing in NS, I had a steak whenever my husband had seafood, which was often. Even so, I still ordered the 8oz filet mignon at Chantal's. Let me tell you, it was the best steak I've had in a (very) long time.Each entree includes a delicious mushroom soup sampler topped with creme fresh; followed by warm buns and a lovely salad. Wow, talk about bang for your buck!The type of liquor licence they have means that they can't serve wine, but you can bring your own for a $0.99 corkage fee. The servers were very warm and attentive. The whole restaurant experience was amazing. We showed without a reservation, but they happened to have a table available. I would definitely recommend a reservation to avoid disappointment. You'd be sorry to miss out on this one!
