Problem accessing the pub as disabled access door bell not working so had to bang on the door and customer let us in No house red wine and staff would nt let me have a glass of other red wine although my meal came with an alcoholic drink so forced to have white wine which I don’t like Food was cold had to send back husbands jacket potato and my burger was only lukewarm Worse meal at a Weatherspoons ever and this used to be such a nice pub when we were here a couple of years ago Very disappointed would nt go back

Awful visit today, sat in a booth and proceeded to shuffle across and put my hand in sick all over the booth seat (which had been hidden underneath a menu! Had to rush upstairs to the toilets to wash off and disinfect.. asked for a free drink for the inconvenience but was sadly declined.. moved seats and ordered food. Food came and was very underwhelmed with it i had the 6oz American cheeseburger which arrived with approx 11 chips. Poor portion size but tasted okay. Friends burger was cold although mine was piping hot. Please work on this I was expecting the full 1640 calories on my plate

Absolutely no atmosphere, rude and disrespectful staff and a manager that has got a clue what they are doing.

Used to love this place but what's gone so wrong We came here for our daughter's 19th birthday breakfast as is a thing we do on birthdays 9 of us 4 breakfasts came 20 minutes plus another 4 arrived Then the 9th breakfast apparently wasn't ordered which it was so payed a second time for it Yet still another long wait Needless to say we won't be back

It 's a typical Wetherspoons which I visited on on a busy Saturday evening, finding a seat inside as the rear yard was busy with steady drinkers. Service was a little slow, but not too bad considering how busy the pub was. My first choice (the vegan Beyond burger was out of stock, which they didn 't tell me until I had been waiting for 15 minutes. But the replacement bean burger was OK. As always the side salad was not good value, but the overall cost of the meal (burger, chips, salad and 500ml bottle of Ghost Ship for under a tenner was still good . If you park after 6pm, the local public car park next to Sainsbury 's is free. I had breakfast here a few months ago (staying at the adjacent Travelodge and again, it represents very good value.
