Haswell Chippie - Durham

This is an amazing fish and chips restaurant. The breakfasts are simply wonderful. The staff are extremely polite and generous.

Since the new owners took over, the food has been excellent, featuring fresh ingredients. The chicken kebab is particularly delicious. I highly recommend it!

When I arrived to pick up my order, I was shocked to find four pizzas—none of which had a stuffed crust! When I explained that I had only ordered one, the staff member became visibly angry, raised his voice, and insisted that I had ordered four. I tried to clarify the misunderstanding, but he just shook his head and threw accusations at me in front of two other customers. It was incredibly embarrassing, and I almost walked away without any pizzas, close to tears. When I got home, my husband called to file a complaint about how I was treated, but the employee’s response was unhelpful. He simply said, "Well, next time you should be clearer!" and then hung up on us. I'm extremely dissatisfied and definitely won't be coming back!

Because the people that work there are on their phones and do not take any notice of the customers, I think that, is quite rude because they are there to work, not play on their phones all day If you agree, type #phone ,haswell chippy
