Bidrage med feedbackWe saw good reviews online about this restaurant. My wife is found of dosas, so we decided to try them out. Place is cozy with no ambience. I wanted to try MLA Dosa as it looked different on the menu, so when the server came I asked him to explain what it was, sadly he couldn?t even explain in Hindi. So I ordered Mysore Masala Dosa and my wife ordered Masala Dosa. My Dosa came first and after waiting for almost 10 minutes my wife?s came. My Dosa was crispy but my wife?s wasnot. Sambhar was not even close to ?real? sambhar, chutneys weren?t good at all. Overall dosas were way below average. Restaurant name is Dosa Grill, I think they should modify their menu so that the kitchen can concentrate on quality. Alsoplease train your staff so that they have knowledge about the items they?re serving. We?re highly disappointed. Wouldn?t recommend to anyone.
Changing it to a one star because I didn't get the full order. Before it was two stars because I like their food. But when it comes to everything else, it's zero stars. Most recent issue: My Uber driver was waiting over 30 min to pick my order. I personally waited over an hour and a half. What's the point of ordering delivery online if your food arrives cold? And the food is not exactly affordable, it's priced high and Its frustrating to a point where I lose my appetite bythe time my food arrives. Feeling very ripped off. Their phone always goes straight to voicemail. I don't know what is going on over there, but let's just say this isn't the only good Indian food around...if you are having this muchdifficulty delivering an order that is only 3 miles away perhaps you need to think about whether or not you have the qualities to being a restaurant owner..
Changing my review from 5 to 2? Used to be a good place to eat. Not anymore Quality and quantity is drastically decreased especially appetizers. And goat biryani is too salty with a total of 2.5 pieces.
Aug 2022 review Got the take out for 3rd time. Ordered masala and cheese dosa. Obviously dosa is best eaten freshly made so not recommended for takeout since it gets very soft and feels soggy certainly outside restaurant 's control given how humid it gets for this area. The only thing is that the chutney sauces 'seem ' smaller for takeout. The best dishes to order for take out are the curries and appetizers. 2020 review This place makes freshproper dosas. And menu fill options for dosas are many and each dosa comes with 3 sauces that frankly, I have not seen at most other Indian establishments I 've been to (awesome plus here). And the lamb and goat curry ....... isun apologetically fresh. Kinda feels like they use fresh herbs and spices. Oh wait, it located next to an Indian market that has fresh herbs and spices. And mild spicy, which is how it should be. I didn 't grow up eating dosas but thisis literally a repeat place. I am now eating more at this place than fast food chain restaurants. So in conclusion: Dosa Grill makes fresh proper dosas well (and also lamb goat curry really well too). Enough said. Go eat and see foryourself and please do not do dosa for takeout because it 'll just get all soggy on the drive home.
Great place food is fresh and tastes amazing. The people were very kind and helpful. Definitely coming back. My husband had the lamb kabob and I had the chicken. They were both tasty. The portions are generous and everything was so so fresh. Great place to have dinner or take out.
