Great and romantic stow away, absolutely love the food and atmosphere 10/10 I recommend it

I loved the inside of this place. So unique and so many things to look at. The food was just okay but I’m glad we went for the atmosphere.

Our group visited on Wed, not sure if it's because it's Xmas but we were disappointed. The toilets very grubby ,dirty couches. Our Tables not cleared, service a little hit and miss. Some staff very pleasant. Xmas decor beautiful. Scones etc uncovered and not good quality.Coffee lovely. One of the ladies felt her teapot etc was not clean. Sorry but this was our experience. Hopefully it's better next time.

If it were up to my dog, I would bring him to this restaurant because he enjoys playing in the dirt. However, the service was poor when it came to ordering a cup of tea and a hot chocolate. The mugs were dirty and the teapot was broken. Additionally, they didn't have honey, which I believe is a basic accompaniment when serving tea. I am so angry about this experience that I could go on, but I can't believe I had to pay for it.

Have come here every New Year’s Eve with the family for years. Tonight is the last time we’ll come. The dog house has well and truly gone to the dogs. Our booked table wasn’t there. They’d given it to someone else. To their credit, they moved people then to rectify their mistake. The food when they got it right was tasty as usual but there was over an hour delay between ordering and receiving our starters. Nothing complicated, just nachos. We had to send back one item twice as they got it completely wrong both times how hard is it to get “plain burger” right? Pizza arrived with the wrong toppings. Service was incredibly slow. The place wasn’t busy, and it may be because the place has got so bad. If it was possible to give less than one star, I would.
