Went on a group night out with work and had the best evening at The 51. GREAT table service, fab food (fresh, boiling hot sharing platter of fried snacks) and a really fun, cheerful, cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend for group bookings as much as a regular visit. Thank you to all the staff for a truly super night can't wait to go back!

Visited for Sunday lunch on a weekend trip to Dublin. Sunday is Carvery day, although there are a few other dishes like chicken curry available upon request. The bar itself is simple in decor, with plenty of seating and a covered outdoor area for smoking. The bar is well stocked with a great variety of drinks available, but the real gem is the carvery. It's clearly popular with the locals as a steady queue was building from 12.30pm (Carvery opens at 1pm), but the amazing efficiency of the chef and the serving staff meant the queue went down as quickly as it formed. There was a choice of three meats and all the trimmings, including bread stuffing and two types of potatoes (roasted and mash). Everything was fresh, piping hot and delicious. Well worth €16 and would thoroughly recommend.
