Scotch Bonnet - Dublin

The food is always consistent. Good no nonsense family grub. Cocktail tree is great, but what makes this place special is the people. Steph and Kevin are the best hosts

A nice restaurant in Malahide. We went for dinner with children and were taken upstairs and sat at a lovely table near a window. Crayons and paper were provided for the kids. The menu was extensive and not too dear. There was a small selection of beer and wines. The meals were tasty and servings generous. Service was friendly and efficient.

Great food and service! We had the pizza and fish tacos and both were delish! Food was served with a smile. Would definitely come back.

My wife and I eat here twice on our weekend stay in Malahide. There's a Prawn main on the menu and it's just superb. Staff were just top notch. They really know how to look after guests. Apologies I didn't leave my review earlier, but this one is right at the top of its game. I highly recommend Scotch Bonnet

I don't often write reviews of restaurants but had to pop in to give a big thumbs up to Scotch Bonnet! I was there on a Thursday evening with my mam and 3 sisters. To begin with the staff are amazing so friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. They hit that sweet spot of giving you time to peruse the menu or finish courses without leaving it too long before checking in or clearing the table. The food was excellent too, I'm always a bit skeptical when there's a lot of variety but all five of us were delighted with everything we ordered starters, mains and desserts. The tacos, the burgers, the prawn plank were all delicious and the highlight for me personally was the calamari. Great atmosphere, tasty, wholesome food and friendly, efficient staff what more could you want? :
