The Teller Room - Dublin

We were desperately seeking a dinner location on a Friday night with no reservation. We went into the bar below and it was packed. I spotted the stairway and went up to the Teller Room-expecting the same packed chaos. Surprisingly, it was not busy. We...were quickly seated and presented with a menu filled with tempting selections. We ate a delicious meal here, and I am a picky foodie believe me. It was quiet and with a lovely ambiance. We sat by the window and enjoyed the view of the street action below. We will definitely be back our next visit to Dublin!

This is the new dining room above The Bankers Bar in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. My wife and I were walking back to our hotel (the Westin Dublin) when we decided to stop here for dinner on a warm evening in early July....The food and wine were both outstanding and reasonably priced. My wife could not stop raving about the lamb shank. Although the wine list was very limited, we selected a very good Tempranillo-Syrah-Cabernet blend from Spain that held up well to the braised lamb. The service was very good and exceptionally courteous. We both highly recommend The Teller Room.

We happen to check the prices as we walked by on a Friday night and they seemed resonable. We then learned that the resteraunt is upstairs and much more peacful than the bar scene downstairs. food and service was both very good.

We waited minutes for mediocre food. No WiFi as advertised. Service was slow. Would not go back..

Close enough to Temple Bar, but far enough not to be ripped off. Fish and chips were freshly cooked, and the Beef/Guiness pie was meaty. No irritating fiddle music in the background either, you can hear yourself talk!
