Line Out - Dublin

Excellent Hotel choice for a visit to Dublin. Especially for a rugby game at Aviva Hotel 5 minutes from stadium. Very secure. Welcomed at gate name taken then informed where to park your car. The warmest welcome from the very lovely receptionist Suzanna.. check in done prior to our stay. Given keys to our room 310. 3rd floor. Lift B. Everything one needs lovely toiletries, fresh towels. Tea, coffee, water. Very comfortable room. We dined pre Ireland v Italy game 5th August 2023 in their restaurant. To say the staff were truly outstanding. So very informative, helpful and full if smiles and so polite exceptional service. Exquisite food beautifully presented. Be prepared for big portions. You shall leave very satisfied. Returned apres the game. All very content. Ireland win over Italy. The only let down was the queue in the bar. It was sad to see folks complaining . The 3 bar team certainly were not experienced. I wanted to go help them as I felt they were panicking someone as people were rude to them. I watched as people ordered their Guinness and drinks . Guinness being poured and served last. So perhaps down to lack of experience. Everything else in this hotel was perfect. We cannot wait to return again o the 19th. The Wark welcome again leaving today from Suzanna and a very nice manager Simone bid us farewell till they would see us again . Staff at breakfast were very attentive and again great food served up. Rooms are small and dated but a nice stay all the same.

I could have written about the spacious and tidy rooms, the lovely breakfast and restaurant, great service at the reception, etc. But what I really love about this fantastic family-driven hotel is that the employees become your friends. You are not just a customer . You chat with them about everything, and you always feel they give more to your stay than you can expect. You feel they are enjoying their time at work, and that I love. We had a fantastic holiday here and will most certainly come back next time we visit Dublin. Beatrice and Susana in the reception, Anna and Lucio in the restaurant, Igor and his colleagues in the bar/pub. To name a few... But my biggest praise goes to Simona in the reception We had an issue with our room when we arrived and the way you solved it will never be forgotten. And the great chats we had. Thanks to everyone at Sandymount Hotel for our best hotel-experience ever And see you all soon

Nice rooms and good breakfast. In a quiet place in town, but not too far away from the real center. Just ideal.

Our stay at the Sandymont Hotel was perfect. We were warmly welcomed and were able to leave our luggage at the luggage office to go for a walk in the city. The lady at the reception gave us some recommendations as to where to eat. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options. The staff was incredibly nice at every step of our stay and till the end. Big thank you to Beatrice and Ann, who called the hotel shuttle for us as it was raining to take us to our car rental agency. They were always nice, smiling, and helpful.
