Bidrage med feedbackVisited the Monkstown venue yesterday. Apart from being left standing at the door for way too long while the manager and her staff faffed around (the place was half empty), it then took them over 50 minutes to deliver two club sandwiches which were pretty poor. The attitude of the manager was probably the worst experience, showing little or no empathy or concern. I won’t be going back.
This is a lovely brunch spot with a very good atmosphere. this restaurant was very busy which is always a good sign. The food was lovely, I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon which was lovely and they were not tight on the amount of smoked salmon they gave which was great. My cappuccino was lovely too and despite the restaurant being really busy, service was very efficient and there were no long wait times.
After a few days in Dublin, we came across this lovely little place in Ranelagh, far away from the crowds. Very local vibe, with great, tasty Irish breakfast foods savoury and sweet. Absolutely recommend for a local experience, if you are over the tourist stuff.
Ordered a cinnamon roll, with high expectations as the name of the restaurant is Cinnamon. It was a 60c cinnamon roll from Lild. The scones are small loaves of bread, with hardly any flavour. The waitress spilled coffee on me! One of my friends ordered a wrap (for €9.50), it arrived stone cold on the inside and stale on the outside. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing but the food is a big let down.
20mins i waited for anybody to come take my or order or even notice me at all. i did note the staff sitting 2 other couples after me, they got coffees and vino quickly... i waited.... staff sat at counter and had coffee.. i waited... incredibly one of the staff had a new light saber (blue by the way) and did a little mock duel on the floor... i waited... one of the couples seated after i had been got food served... i walked....20 mins.... not once did any staff member even look my way.
