Canal Bank Cafe - Dublin

I adore Canal Bank! I visit every few weeks, and whether I'm having a full Irish breakfast, chicken wings for lunch, or a delicious main course for dinner, they never disappoint!

We recently had a business lunch at Canal Bank Cafe and were very impressed. The menu offers a wide range of options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian customers. We started with a generous portion of wings to share, which were cooked perfectly and served with a delicious blue cheese dip. For our main courses, we opted for chargrilled beef burgers and a sandwich. The staff managed the timing of our meal well, and we didn't have to wait long between courses. The burgers were cooked to perfection and served with a side of salad, sliced tomato, and crispy fries. They had a delicious charcoal flavor and were juicy and flavorful. While I personally would have added a touch of salt, the bun was nicely toasted and fresh. The fries were also outstanding - hot, crispy, and not sticking together. Overall, we had a great experience at Canal Bank Cafe and would highly recommend it.

Really good little place I stumbled across. From walking in and the feeling welcome as a single dinner, to the food and drink selection you cannot go wrong here.

Excellent restaurant at a fair price. The staff is friendly and puts you at ease, the environment is beautiful but also comfortable. The fish and chips are really good, the frying is light and not greasy, the chicken wings are delicious and tasty. The dishes are generous. Both at lunch and dinner the quality does not change. If you want to eat a few steps from the center and not go to the usual restaurants, this is an excellent alternative.

First but not the last. Greeted by a warm and contemporary decor, there was a really welcoming setting to this charming eatery. A diverse menu, with sandwiches, pasta and omelets and a list of special for the day. The friendly and attentive staff contributed to this delightful lunch.
