Sister Lakes Brewing Company - Dowagiac

Well the morning started off raining, the sun cleared up so we headed over to sister lakes brewing company for their summer release party. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, and the atmosphere was fun. Plenty of room for the kids to run around in the back well my husband and I were able to enjoy our beverages and listen to the music.

Great food and great local beer. If your looking for something different, then this is the place. Great service and everyone was very nice. The food is fresh and worth coming back for.

Some lovely beers, Irish Red and Saison were very good. The Lemony Cricket was very refreshing...perfect for a hot summer day. Had the cheese spread appetizer and it was the BOMB. Had the special, lobster Mac and cheese and it was decent. Not the best I've had but good. The staff were very nice and friendly and the place was clean and welcoming.

Upon first glance, this restaurant may seem like just another modern brewery or casual sports bar, but the atmosphere is surprisingly welcoming and comfortable. The music is pleasant and the outdoor seating is well-spaced. I brought my family of seven here on Father's Day without a reservation, just a quick phone call. The food was delicious and served promptly. My daughter especially enjoyed her filling and tasty entree - the mac and cheese with pulled pork was mouthwatering. The BBQ sauce had an authentic Southern flavor and the brisket sandwich was packed with meat. Beware of gnats if dining outside in June, but the indoor seating provides a respite. The variety of games available kept my grumpy preteen entertained and the meal was a definite win overall.
