I ordered the pulled pork, mac and cheese, and collard greens. When it arrived, none of the dishes looked appetizing, which gave me a hint about what was to come (sarcasm intended). The collard greens had a texture that suggested they weren’t fully cooked, and they were overwhelmed by the taste of vinegar. The pulled pork resembled mush and was quite dry. As for the mac and cheese, it was simply noodles topped with a large chunk of cheese. Overall, I was very disappointed and definitely won’t be returning.

We were at Cracker Barrel when we caught a whiff of the BBQ, and we decided to give it a try. I have to say, it was the best decision we ever made. The catfish was incredible, the fries were fantastic, and the BBQ was delicious. My 8-year-old son liked it so much that he suggested we make it a regular Sunday outing. My husband enjoyed it so much that we returned after just two weeks! This has officially become our new favorite spot.

I ordered the combo platter, which included beef, pork, ribs, and chicken. The pork was good and tender, but the white meat chicken was dry, and the ribs were also lacking moisture. As for the brisket, if it’s chopped, that’s usually a red flag. They offer a variety of unique sauces, and I tried the original, chipotle, and honey. All were decent but a bit too runny for my taste. My son and I shared the combo platter, which came with two sides that were impressive and the reason I gave this place 3 stars. He chose the mac and cheese, which was creamy and cheesy, while I opted for the fresh fried corn, which was juicy and sweet. When I realized there was no salt on the tables, I inquired about it and was told they had removed it all because they were closing soon (in about an hour). That might explain why the meat was a bit dry. I would consider giving them another chance.

It was good!!! This was not my first rodeo at Williamson Bros. But I never had the chicken strips before.... huge! We decided to go out for ribs, I really like the mom and pops restaurants but I could not turn down this place. I ended up ordering the combination platter with 2 meats, so I ordered the bone ribs and chicken tenders and lost focus of the reason we came by eating the tenders.-lol! The ribs were equally amazing.... not a huge crowd on a Tuesday evening so the serve was fast and good... how can we not come back!

Another awesome experience for Williamson Bros. This was my first time at this location and it did not disappoint. They have fresh cut fries that are great to complement the bbq. I had the pork sandwich and it was flawless. The baked beans are a must when you come here. Their desserts looked incredible. Service was great and I will definitely be back here if I'm in the area again.
