Taste Of Tokyo - Destrehan

Taste of Tokyo is one of our favorite dining spots. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is always top-notch! We especially enjoy having David as our waiter—he truly is the best!

I’ve tried a lot of sushi, and this place is the best! The Salmon Mango Roll is definitely my favorite!

I love the food. The service needs some help. I always get 2 things: the booudoin roll and the Cajun shrimp appetizer. Both are AMAZING!!!! I say service needs improvement only because when I came to the restaurant a young (probably high school) host stood behind the Theke Eile to answer how many people for my party. Her attitude needed to float and she looked out and sounded upset, but I cleaned it away. There were hardly 5 people in it, including employees at this time of the day. When I followed her to my seat, I quickly found the toilet room. I was almost in the old building and the sound of the toilet after I flushed. I went to my place and the waiter was very attentive waiting all the time and watching to see nearby when I finished the free soup, my appetizer and meal. As I said, the food is great, and it is directly opposite my church; I love the situation. Just a few smaller bends.

This is the most lit establishment that serves sushi ever anywhere and the staff is really friendly.

The sushi was absolutely delicious! New Year roll, Poboy roll, and Niki rolls were all tried! Fantastic all of them! Definitely will be going back!
