The Harbor Tavern - Destin

Nice Gem we found while coming to the end of our trip. Very affordable delicious food. I had the pork belly BLT, nice texture and flavor on it. My wife had the pork belly tacos and they were really good. My kiddos 4 and 3, loved the fries at this place. They were well seasoned! Overall one of the better places we ate at during our trip to Destin.

Food was great- fresh, hot, and flavorful. Great prices, and gorgeous view of the harbor, friendly servers. The place was clean, including bathrooms. Most of our Destin dinners have been $200+ with a mediocre experience, this place was probably one of my favorites and did not break the bank. It was a great option for my family, I personally don't eat a lot of seafood but my family does. I was able to get a delicious chicken pita where they stole my heart with the pickled onions, while my daughter had the shrimp tacos and my husband had peel and eat (he said it was the best he had here so far). This is also the FIRST restaurant (on day 7) that my 3 year old actually ate her kids meal. 100% recommend if you are looking for a more laid back vibe.

Absolutely the best food we had in Destin by far. No comparison. Don’t blow $150+ on the larger mediocre restaurants with long wait times. The Harbor Tavern is a fantastic, reasonably-priced, family-owned restaurant you can’t miss. Eat here and you won’t be disappointed! Indoor and outdoor seating available.They validate parking as well.When you are done walk over to Beignets and Brews for fresh beignets and coffee!
