There comes a time when you don't want to recommend a restaurant because you want to keep it as your special place. That restaurant is just that - special.

While driving to Punta Gorda from Colorado, we were looking for a non-chain, local restaurant and relied on reviews to find one.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the penne carbonara. My wife loved the penne arrabbiata. The calzone was enormous and delicious.
