Zana’s Wood Fire Pizza - DeKalb

This was our first visit. We came at an off time in the afternoon, but the food is good, the service was like talking with a friend, and the place was clean and comfortable. The portions are also BIG for the price, which is a nice change these days.

If your bored of Pizza hut and Dominoes and Papa John's, trust me this is a good spot to order Pizza from! I ordered the Italian stallion with Jalapeños 18 pizza. It's wood fire so of course it's gonna have a slightly smokey and burnt crust, wich I like. Inside was small, but clean. Staff was nice. I don't lie in my reviews U guys can count on me! We ordered take out. Everything was soggy. The onion rings were soft yet they have potential. They need to put it in a Styrofoam or other kind of container and make holes so the steam doesn't make the onion rings soggy. When I reheated them at home they were delicious. The calamari stayed crispy. The sauce could be thicker and tangier like cocktail sauce. Their pizza was soggy as well. I put two slices together and reheated it the next day and ate it like a giant pizza puff. Over all I would return for onion rings and calamari. The Tiramisu is too expensive $7 is ridiculous. I could get that and better somewhere else for $4.

Dine in/take-out This is best pizza in Sycamore/Dekalb. The ingredients are fresh and tasty.
