Captain D's - Danville

I love dining at this restaurant! The staff is consistently fantastic and the food is always delicious!

I ordered a fish and shrimp meal and requested cocktail sauce and tartar sauce but received tubs of butter instead. I asked for corn on the cob as a side but got an extra cole slaw. The corn wasn't charged, but that's beside the point. We're finished giving this restaurant chances, it's over.

I recently visited the restaurant and ordered the family sampler for over $40 through the drive-thru. When I got home, I realized that the chicken and shrimp were missing from my order. I called the restaurant to inform them of the issue, and Kelsey, who claimed to have personally checked my order, insisted that everything was included. When I pushed back and accused them of calling me a liar, I was redirected to the assistant Richard. He offered to replace the missing items, but not the entire meal, as the owner would not approve it. When I asked for the owner's name, I was told it was Kelly. I was disappointed by the poor customer service and felt disrespected by being called a liar. The owner should be more aware of how her employees are treating customers.

Never bad food. Service is great. Wait time is not bad.

Sorry but the food was awful. Don't order the mac and cheese, it was enedible. The fish was old and rubbery, the chicken was some kinda off brand, the coating sucked. The only good part was the shrimp, you know deep down that it's also some frozen prepackaged food that luckily was not bad tasting. Had the steamed broccoli and it was good but got cold quick. So overall the food gets 2 stars. The last Captain D's in Lawrence,KY was a thousand times better than here in Danville, KY.
