Walt's Place - Danielsville

I discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant while browsing the internet. It may not be fancy, but the food is excellent and the staff are welcoming. We tried their Seafood Buffet on a Saturday evening and were impressed with the hand-battered, perfectly cooked Catfish, Shrimp, chicken tenders, and Frogs legs. While they may not offer a wide variety of dishes, if you're looking for delicious, well-prepared seafood, this is the place for you. My wife missed having corn with her meal, but we enjoyed the local bluegrass music performed by talented musicians on Saturdays, giving the restaurant a cozy, down-home atmosphere.
