Zhanlu Coffee Daan Shop

I’m getting sticker shock for coffee here in Taipei Haven’t paid so much for equivalent cups of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe or Costa Rican Tarrazu even in Tokyo or Seoul. Here, my coffee alone was 400 NTD! Yes, it was very good, however. I was also surprised by arriving on a Sunday morning at 11:00 and being told I should have made a reservation…for a coffee shop!! They found me and my wife seats, anyway. Also had the understated, creamy key lime cheesecake. Certainly a tasty compliment to the coffee. If you come here, however, be prepared for the sticker shock.

Two people order the same, one come out in reasonable time, the other one is taking ages. After remind them, the reply is we are busy prepare, after 40 minutes. Wont go again for sure. Over staffs, no service

Their brownie has a very nice rich chocolate flavour. The peach fruit tea I had was very nice as well. Staff provided water by the table. Good choice for a relaxing fika aka coffee with dessert. The prices are average for the area.

The tiramisu is very good but too crowded on a Saturday afternoon
