Bidrage med feedbackThe last time we ordered food from this restaurant, we ended up throwing most of it out. The chop suey was terrible, with oversized poorly cooked vegetables and the unusual addition of zucchini, which should be suey choy or bok choy. The rice and chow mein lacked flavor and we had to add soy sauce to make them more palatable.
As more and more customers flock to this Chinese restaurant for quality food, the quality has unfortunately taken a hit. On our last three visits, most of the food we ordered ended up in the trash - it was almost like raw mush with a consistently terrible taste. It's disappointing because the food used to be good, but with the increasing demand, it seems like they are struggling to maintain their standards.
A very cool place to get Chinese food and very good customer service and very clean place and very happy caring staff that go above and beyond to serve there customers.
This is the second time we have purchased Chinese food , the first time it was eatable, this time it was stale. Phoned staff and they said and I quote sometimes the food should have been throw out and he gave us a credit to buy groceries. The store is great but for get the Chinese food, suggest parksville store.
While shopping at the mall, my companion and I noticed a sign advertising all-beef hamburgers. It had been a long day, so we decided to check out the cafe at Quality Foods grocery store. We were pleasantly surprised by the wide range of options available - soup, sandwiches, sushi, Chinese cuisine, scones, buns, large hamburgers, fries, and more. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, the staff were well-trained, and the service was excellent. The eating area was spacious with plenty of tables, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet snack while shopping. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a convenient location.
