Eva Street Privateer - Coorparoo

This big little caffe in the back of coorparoo is definitely worth looking out! Great coffee served by friendly, scientific staff. the food was also fantastic! I had made the 'gourmet bacon eierrolle', on a Japanese milk ****, with double speck (yes,! relish, swiss cheese, rockkete a fried egg yummo!

Best coffee on the South Side by far. Friendly staff, Matt always up for a chat and it's the little things he does different that gives this place the edge.

There's nothing better than a delicious toastie and homemade muffin in the morning. Oh wait yes there is, fantastic coffee and friendly service with a smile! Eva st always provides on all levels! Consistent delicious food, smooth fast coffee and friendly customer service.

A little bit like that coy little sibling, Eva Street Privateer is right next to a more established, more showy cafe, hidden a little bit from the street. For what it is worth, instead of the place to be seen, this is the place to retreat to get a small bit of sustinence. In addition to that, it is also the location of a barista school. The majority of places cannot have this said about them; there is well and truly seating behind the kitchen and the counter. What a find. This is a great down to earth place. We rocked up and Matt was nearly shut, no problem though. He even gave us a freebie for be the last customer. Choice.
