Bidrage med feedbackDelicious food! This restaurant is a fantastic choice for Indonesian cuisine in the city. They have a wide range of dishes on the menu, all at reasonable prices, and they even allow you to bring your own drinks. We couldn't make up our minds on what to order, so we decided to try the $40 rijsttaafel. It was incredibly tasty and there was a generous amount of food, making it a great way to sample different items. The only downside was the seating – the wooden stools were quite uncomfortable, so it wasn't ideal for relaxing and enjoying dinner and drinks for an extended period of time.
First time try this resto while visiting Brisbane Ordered the bakwan Malang, gado2, nasi Padang Nasi Padang we order with pickles, squid The nasi Padang Its Okay The bakwan Malang really good but the Soup doesnt have taste so you need to mix it with some sauce your selves but the assorted bakwan so good! The drinks i choose Ice chendol and Ice kopyor but not really my favourite compare to the one that i drink before in indo n Sydney The portion bit too small compare to Sydney
I tried to check out a new restaurant in the area but was disappointed. I stumbled upon a small window in the dining area of this restaurant where they serve breakfast and coffee. I decided to order a flat white and randomly chose a sausage roll. The coffee was decent and had the restaurant's logo on it so I couldn't determine the type of brew. However, the sausage roll was disappointing. It lacked flavor and the pastry was not crispy. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience. Previous rating: February 2018 3.5/5.
I went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday and was extremely impressed! The service was quick and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The peanut sauce served was made traditionally, not with peanut butter, allowing you to taste the unique spice mixture used. The Gulai Domba Aceh was a burst of flavor, with thick, spicy sauce and tender lamb. I highly recommend it. The sup buntut was rich, comforting, and filling, with oxtail that was melt-in-your-mouth tender. While the portion sizes may seem small to some, this is typical in Asian cuisine. The prices reflect the labor-intensive cooking process and quality of ingredients used. Sharing meals for two can help offset costs. I will continue to support this restaurant as authentic Asian cuisine, especially Indonesian food, is hard to come by in Brisbane. I highly recommend giving it a try.
Miserable portion size and overpriced for what it is. Not exactly authentic. Mains on the menu are basically variations of the same dish!! Staff service was extremely slow and disinterested. We waited half an hour to have our orders taken and then when the food finally came to the table, it was the smallest most stingy serving size. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!! Would not recommend.
