Sheetz - Conover

The sheet itself is good, but PLEASE SOMEBODY GREASE THE DOOR. Both front doors make the most terrible closure every time you open it and have for months, which is not a good first impression of the store. It's terrible. Sounds like a screaming dying animal.

We visited the Sheetz in Conover NC on 10/1 approx. 715. The location is on Fairgrove Church Street. When traveling, we regularly try to stop at Sheetz because of the cleanliness and safety of the sites. This place DID NOT live up to the normal Sheetz standard. It was the most disgusting sheet I've ever been. The bathroom walls and stands were covered with graffiti. The floors inside were sticky with soda. It looked like all the beverage machines exploded immediately. I literally had to raise my feet to go after standing in a place long enough to pay. The counters were with soda, red (what I hope was ice cream and coffee. There were no cups and I had to look for an employee. The cup holders were full of cup pieces that had broken off. None of the food machines worked (not that I wanted food because this store was so bad. Outside, the pumps had all overflowing garbage cans and litter over the floor. I'm completely disappointed by Sheetz, and I won't stop at this point.

I usually get out of my way to stop at a sheet, but never again at this. This is one of the dirtyest gas stations I've ever had. There are garbage from all external garbage cans, garbage over the parking lot, several spills that have never been cleaned and if you are inside, it is more of the same. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Bad show, Sheetz.

Another great location of Sheetz. They all seem great, but I like this, especially when I travel east. You have a self-checkout center that is ideal for introverts. Very clean bathroom. Many snacks and drinks are available on the road trip. The food here is excellent. They do themselves a service that does not order from the counter. Your Subs Rivale Publix. Yeah, they're so good.

I would normally give this place a four or five star rating. But not today I was depending on my point for my discount on gas and when you got incompetent employees working that don 't ask you if you have a Sheetz card and you are going crazy and just trying to get thru the day you just forget everything and you don 't show your card,, bc you forget,, then you 're paying regular for gas so no I do not like because the boy did not ask me and that couldn 't remind me if I had a sheets card so I didn 't like it today. Plus ,, he didn 't smile or say thank you .Also,, they say it 's coorperate the reason they don 't have the self serve ice cream working. They 're not getting the supplies in. But I can go to another sheetz and they have it. Sheetz used to be the best. Being open 24/7 and MTO food. NOW,, they are so slack. I don 't know but I think it 's some of the staff in some of them. Also I 'm a senior citizen and it 's hard to save money and that hurts. Especially with these young people that show NO RESPECT.
