A client recommended this restaurant and I’ve never been more satisfied. Between the customer service, food and atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed. I used to frequent this restaurant a lot in 2020, and the food was well prepared and extremely flavorful. I moved away for about 3 years and returned to Columbia MD not long ago. And the very first place I made sure to visit was Chutney. Well, unfortunately, I’m incredibly disappointed with the food I recv’d today. It was soooo bland and had absolutely NO flavor!!! I spent close to $30 for my meal and ended up throwing half of it in the trash. Not sure what happened in the three years I was gone, if they have a new chef or what. But the food was really bad. I don’t even think I can chance it giving them another try in the event that today was just a one off. $30 down the drain. What a huge disappointment. Smh

This is one of the best Indian places on the east coast. If you are within 200 miles. Drive. It’s that consistently good. If you are new to Indian food, let this be your first experience. Foodies already know. The lunch buffet is open again!! If you are vacationing in the DMV area make this a special food stop. It’s better than the any tourist spot in the DC Metro. I recently was in London and waited in line for Dishoom for over an hour for amazing Indian cuisine. Chutney is leaps and bounds better.
