Chocolate Garden - Coloma

The variety and dedication is commendable. My only problem is the gift boxes never make it home so make sure to buy yourself an extra for the trip home.

If you are on the wine trial then this is a cool spot to stop.I'm not sure if my expectations were super high, but I wasn't necessarily blown away by this place. Adorable set up. I really like the idea of a chocolate tasting, but I was just underwhelmed by the chocolate itself. Lots of unique flavors, but nothing really stood out in the tasting. It's a bit pricey as well, but so is most quality chocolate.

Almost any chocolate place, is my happy place! My husband and I had a great experience here. We arrived 15 minutes prior to close and the very nice lady told us to take our time while we were here, which was nice since I was going to grab and go. I guess the best part is that we did not know what to expect, just expected to get some good truffles. We got more than that, since I felt like a chocolate happy tourist! The lady suggested we try their Warm Drinking Chocolate Mix and I did... 'Twas nice! There 's nothing like knowing you 're drinking a mix of dark and white chocolate which has been scalded with a 6(ish) oz of coffee yeup! This is my kind of coffee! Sweeeet! We grabbed a few truffles and I did their tasting of 3 samples...Can 't go wrong with the milk chocolate hazelnut, the lemon drop (white chocolate), and the cayenne kick! My husband knew what to do to to satisfy my horrible sweet tooth! Worth the visit!!

When I had gone to The Chocolate Garden I was shocked to see how expensive the truffles were. 2 truffles were about $6. The young gals behind the counter seemed a bit snooty.

They have the best hot and cold chocolate/coffee drinks I have ever tasted in my life!! Yum!!!
