Bidrage med feedbackI went in around a week ago and thought this was pretty gross considering I have worked in the fast food service before but the red head lady who appears to be a leader of some sort made my drink without washing her hands (i paid in cash) and when we waited for my sisters order she threw full dirty dishes in the soapy water i could see. Not how you should be doing dishes! And you should always be washing your hands! I’m disappointed in the sheer laziness.
The employee decided ten minutes to closing, it was close enough to refuse to take anymore drink orders and close up early. Not what I’d expect with Starbucks, however they can’t always account for lazy employees like this one.
Starbucks is considered the main representative of second wave coffee , initially distinguishing itself from other coffee-serving venues in the US by taste, quality, and customer experience while popularizing darkly roasted coffee.[5] Since the 2000s, third wave coffee makers have targeted quality-minded coffee drinkers with hand-made coffee based on lighter roasts, while Starbucks nowadays uses automated espresso machines for efficiency and safety reasons.[5][6] Starbucks locations serve hot and cold drinks, whole-bean coffee, microground instant coffee known as VIA, espresso, caffe latte, full- and loose-leaf teas including Teavana tea products,[7] Evolution Fresh juices, Frappuccino beverages, La Boulange pastries, and snacks including items such as chips and crackers; some offerings (including their annual fall launch of the Pumpkin Spice Latte) are seasonal or specific to the locality of the store. Many stores sell pre-packaged food items, hot and cold sandwiches, and drinkware including mugs and tumblers; select Starbucks Evenings locations offer beer, wine, and appetizers.[8] Starbucks-brand coffee, ice cream, and bottled cold coffee drinks are also sold at grocery stores. Starbucks first became profitable in Seattle in the early 1980s.[9] Despite an initial economic downturn with its expansion into the Midwest and British Columbia in the late 1980s,[10] the company experienced revitalized prosperity with its entry into California in the early 1990s.[11] The first Starbucks location outside North America opened in Tokyo in 1996; overseas properties now constitute almost one-third of its stores.[12] The company opened an average of two new locations daily between 1987 and 2007.[13] On December 1, 2016, Howard Schultzannounced he would resign as CEO effective April 2017 and would be replaced by Kevin Johnson. Johnson assumed the role of CEO on April 3, 2017[14], and Howard Schultz retired to become Chairman Emeritus effective June 26, 2018.[15]
This review is for the Starbucks inside target, not Target itself (I love Target itself). I went there this morning looking for one of those Unicorn drinks (after being told by the Prairie Starbucks that the target one was the only one in the area that wasn 't sold out). I walked up and told the barista (an elderly woman) that I 'd like to order one. She pointed behind her and didn 't answer. I glanced up and saw a small sign on their menu board with an I 'm sorry, we 're all sold out sticker over it. Hoping it was a mistake, I said, oh... you 're all sold out? She looked at me and said, Just out of curiosity, what is it abut you that makes you incapable of reading a sign? Is it too small? Not bright enough? Do I need to put lights on it to make you people actually read it? I was so shocked I could barely speak. I just didn 't look up. I responded. I didn 't bother telling her that I suffer from extreme social anxiety and always keep my eyes down when I go out alone in public, or that I had an exhausting night and was barely awake. It doesn 't matter, and it was none of her business anyways. The way that she treated me was so horrific that I will never go back. The worst thing is, I couldn 't figure out how to gracefully walk away without bursting into tears, so I ordered a drink anyways! I have never been so appalled by anyone 's behavior. I get it. You work at Starbucks. You obviously don 't like your job, and I 'm sure you 're asked for that drink every single moment of every day. But there is NEVER an excuse for treating another human being like that. Not ever. For people like me, it takes every ounce of bravery that I can muster to walk into a big store like that without my husband next to me. Thanks to her, it will probably be a long time before I can again.
Anna was super nice! We ordered a drink for us and usually get the kids hot cocoa at home since it can be so pricey. She was sooo nice she made a kids cocoa and loaded it up with whip cream for my BFs son since he ordered all on his own! She even cut a straw for him since they don’t make them small enough for kids drinks.
