Izzy's Comfort Kitchen - Coeur d'Alene

Izzys is our all-time favorite restaurant! We often drive over an hour just to dine here. It’s not only very safe for my husband, who has celiac disease, but the food is incredibly delicious for me as well! We've always experienced impeccable service, and the cozy atmosphere makes it difficult to leave. Our top menu choices are the Mac and Cheese with crispy chicken and the Apple Whiskey Glazed Chicken Burger. The sweet tea is delightful, and the seasonal desserts are a real treat! The last dessert we tried was the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake, and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends.

Without a doubt, this is the best avocado toast I've ever tasted, and I've tried it in various places across the U.S. My husband ordered the banana French toast, which was simply perfect. I highly recommend ordering both dishes and sharing them. Our server, Jordan, provided us with excellent service. The ambiance was just right, making it clear why this place is a local favorite.

We just ate at Izzy's for the first time and WOW! This place makes me want to go back and review all my previous 5 star reviews and knock them down to 4 stars. This place is in a league of its own and reset my standards! I had the chicken fried steak dinner, and it was the best restaurant chicken fried steak and mashed potato's I've ever had. My wife had the Apple whiskey chicken fried sandwich and it was delicious. Don't walk, run to this place and check it out!

What a delicious meal! My friends have strong gluten intolerances, and this restaurant was highly recommended--incredible!
