Taqueria El Taco Loco - COEUR D ALENE

Love mexian food but was extremly disappointed with Taqueria El Taco Loca. Overpriced, too much cheese not fully melted, bland. Four of us ate and none of us finished our meal. Positive: The salsa bar was super cool and the customer service was good. Negative: product received, flavors, and overall cleanliness. Will not be returning!

We were driving through Coeur d'Alene ID and stopped by to get some food Great food, good atmosphere, good service. Would eat there again!

Came here specifically for quesabirria tacos because they're the only place in the CDA area that serves them, and I'll be damned if they're not the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. Amazing that we have a place this delicious in little old North Idaho. Also, the authenticity on the menu is unbelievable. They have everything from lengua to pork belly and tripa and everything in-between. Killer, killer restaurant and it's probably become my normal taco spot.

Food is always great and The employees are always very nice. We eat here often and typically don’t have any complaints…. But last Monday while there I noticed on our receipt a $3 credit card processing fee!! As a business owner myself I would NEVER push off my business fees on to the consumer. I would have paid cash instead had that been presented at the register beforehand. To top it off…. They had playing on TV a documentary on what looked like business men and prostitution… with some very uncomfortable footage. I would not necessarily consider that appropriate for a family restaurant. Be more aware of what is playing on your screen and pay YOUR business fees… don’t multiply them and push them off to your customers.

Coming from a Mexican background I can day finding food in CDA/Kootenai County area that tastes like Huelitas house is SOOO hard. El Taco Loco is so on point that I guarantee this place is going to be my go to for anything Mexican food related. 5/5 for sure. Thank you El Taco Loco.
