Slate Creek Brewing - COEUR D ALENE

They are open again after a short Hiatus and do not have any in-house beers yet so are offering NW brews. Tried the samsparilla root beer stout. Today it smelled somewhat like a spa. I think they are cleaning the equipment and that odor will disappear soon. Get here early as seating is limited. No food menu but you get peanuts. I will be back

Nice people and easy atmosphere. Love it! Can't wait till they can brew their own beer. Will come back to try that!

Danica, the owner was awesome! They only have a couple of their own beers on tap each week but other selections along with wine and seltzer's. Great neighborhood vibe and she is so friendly. Highly recommend!

Such great brews, such great staff, outstanding patrons! Had a wonderful afternoon on the patio, can't wait to return!

Nothing is more fun than going to a restaurant(or anywhere else for that matter that encourages messiness! Slate Creek Brewing is just such a place! Upon entering we were crunching on peanut shells from patrons that previously and were still there. It is a part of the motif and the charm of the place to get beer and sit down by a bowl of peanuts and start chowing down along with your beer. But instead of doing it the proper way you just swipe the peanut shells off the table and onto the floor! We got the taster set here and they have a nice varied assortment, all of which tasted very good! My favorites was their Wingnut Brown and the Black IPA! I will be going back to drink more of my favorites here and to chow down on salty, tasty peanuts, swipe the shells on the floor and crunch them if nothing else! ;
