Kru Coffee - City of Saratoga Springs

Surprisingly wonderful place. To go, got a latte, tea, and chocolate croissants The tea was WONDERFUL! It was steeped perfectly. I never get that in a coffee place in the US. And the croissants were some of the best I ever had so flakey and buttery and amazing!!!

Some of the best coffee we've ever had, and that's saying something. The Gesha as a pourover was epic. The baristas and manager were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back.

The Bad: I would give 5 ’s, except that they only offer to-go cups and boxes, even for orders to stay. Please, bring back actual dishes! The Good: I’ve been to Paris and live in New York City, and the croissants at Kru are the best I’ve ever eaten. So buttery. Whoever is baking really knows how to laminate.

Being a boomer, there is a bit of difference in expectations in customer service. That said the kids were friendly, it was kind of like you were invisible for a bit standing at the counter for some extra ice for the latte. We figured it’s just how busy kids minds are these days. Not a big problem. Latte was good and it’s a fine place to have a coffee.

Ho. Lee. Cow... This place hit all the marks. Great everything! I wish this wasn't 4 hours away, or I'd be here all the time! Parking: Easy, free parking lot
