The Griffon Gastropub Niagara Falls

We shared the Banh Mi Nachos, and they were absolutely delicious. The plate was generously stacked with crispy chips made from fried wontons, topped with Vietnamese pulled pork, pickled carrots and red peppers, green onions, candied jalapeños, and fresh cilantro, all drizzled with a toasted sesame-sriracha aioli. The only downside was that there weren't enough jalapeños; I didn’t find any on my side of the platter, and while my husband had a few on his side, it still wasn’t sufficient.

I always have a great time at the Griffon! The food is consistently tasty and appealing. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is awesome! They have a bar inside and offer a wide variety of drink and food options. I assure you, you won't be disappointed when you visit! P.S. The breaded chicken fingers are fantastic, and the grilled ones are just as delicious—very flavorful!

I thoroughly enjoyed my Griffon Burger! My only criticism is that the fries were a bit oversalted. The service was very attentive. I'm definitely interested in trying more items from the menu.

The food was both unique and familiar at the same time. For instance, the chicken Caesar salad was served in a wedge style, grilled, and included tomatoes. The chicken and waffles dish balanced sweetness (from the waffle and candied bacon) with saltiness (thanks to the pickle slaw), making it truly outstanding with vibrant flavors. I'm excited to try more of their dishes. Overall, the menu is inventive, delicious, and familiar—far superior to any chain restaurant in the area. If I had to pick something to critique, it would be the ambiance, as the restaurant could benefit from an update. Another minor issue was the tip options on the machine, which automatically suggested 20%, 22%, and 25%. I find that a bit excessive. Nevertheless, we will definitely be returning!

Moving on to the nachos, they were massive enough for our table of six, but we polished off the whole platter without leaving a trace behind—only the receipt remained as evidence of our feast! They also came with a delicious toasted sesame sriracha sauce. I have no idea how such an amazing combination was created, but my family absolutely devoured it. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including chicken and waffles, a peanut butter and jam burger, the Griffon burger, and I shared a "Just the Tips" meal with a family member. The ambiance of the restaurant felt reminiscent of an old tavern, and the decor added to its charm. Our server was exceptional, frequently checking in on us and refilling our drinks. Great service all around!
