Bidrage med feedbackMy family group of seven visited this restaurant for a comedy show and had a fantastic experience. Booking online was simple and the staff communicated well about booking rules and dress code. The staff were friendly throughout our visit. We enjoyed a drink on the deck before heading downstairs for the show, which featured a variety of comedians and a great host. There were good breaks between acts to grab drinks. After the show, we had planned to leave but decided to have one drink and check out the nightclub downstairs. I'm so glad we did - we had a blast trying on props, dancing, singing, and staying until we had to catch the last train home. The location is excellent, across from the London Eye for great photo opportunities and near Embankment tube station for easy access to Charing Cross station. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.
We visited this restaurant for the Boat Show comedy club and had a fantastic night. We arrived around 7pm and enjoyed drinks upstairs with a great view of the Thames at sunset, overlooking iconic landmarks such as the London Eye and Big Ben. The price of a pint and a large wine was reasonable at around £15. The Tattershall Castle is a well-known venue, situated just a 5-minute walk from Embankment tube station, making it easily accessible by public transport. The comedy club is located downstairs, with friendly and efficient staff, talented performers offering a variety of acts, and an excellent host. We would definitely recommend this venue for a fun evening out.
We made a reservation in advance because we were aware of how busy the restaurant was, so our expectations were high for our experience. However, we were extremely disappointed when we arrived to find our table dirty. The staff seemed quite rude and out of control. We had chosen a day when a large buffet was being held for a large group of people, and half of the drinks we wanted were not available, which was unacceptable. Our food took a long time to arrive and we had to clean the table ourselves. There were people drinking at the bar spilling drinks near our table, and we had people bumping into the back of our chairs. The starter was okay but nothing special, and there was no follow-up to see if we wanted more drinks. Our starters weren't even cleared before the main course was brought out. The main course was really disappointing – the mashed potatoes were lumpy and tasteless, the vegetables were lukewarm, and the tart was bland. For £60 for two starters, two mains, and two drinks, it was definitely overpriced. I would recommend saving your money and eating elsewhere if you're looking for a nice evening dinner. The atmosphere may be great for drinks and fun, but for a nice meal, I would suggest looking elsewhere. We ended up leaving after 45 minutes and going to another restaurant for dessert.
The castle tattershall is my favorite place. it is a unique 1934 paddle steamer (former passagier ferry) on the themes opposite the london eye between westminster and Embankment tube stations. they can relax in a comfortable environment with a river view. excellent service by professional staff...and nice eating very cheap. her sunday roast is always delicious and plentiful.
On Wednesday, the 27th, we were sitting first in a closed part of the boot and we had asked if we could possibly move to one of the window seats. the waiter moved us friendly there, but we got a 40-minute time limit that was good as we had a show after that. we quickly decided what we drink. the food came quickly and well presented, we asked for some water for the table, but never got that. we enjoyed our food, we had the meat divider and a few pages. Once we finished, I asked for the bill and was asked to come to pay for the side. the card machine then called to ask if I wanted to leave a tipp because I had to cost the meal, I pushed no (we had planned to leave cash). the gent, who served me very abruptly, made a comment on the change of our table and disturbed that he deserved it. we found that a little rude and a bad taste left in our mouth. we quickly made us feel a little disgusting.
