The Chester Fields

Had here a few weeks ago a meal with omnis and my partner who is vegan like me. they have a separate vegan menu that is ace. it has three courses on it with several options for each. the exceptional is compared to most other places that offer only one main. the atmosphere was beautiful too! the food I chose did not blow me away the vegan pate was in the round only hummus; what is good, but I wish they would just call it hummus. the other courses were nice. would go back 100 would try some other things on the menu

They have a vegan Wednesday menu where they can choose 1, 2 or 3 courses that is cheaper than the main menu, although it is other vegan dishes on the main menu as well. I have the aubergine bakery, which was really nice a little greasy but tasty.

I had a lovely afternoon here. The sandwiches and cakes were excellent, and there was plenty for 3 people, even though we only bought for 2. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, good large portions, very beautifully presented. was a very good price as any Tuesday to january 50% off 2 courses, and I am told by the employees, it is the same deal every 3rd Tuesday of the month normally. I went for the mixed grill below. also the interior design of the whole place was beautiful. will definitely come back when we visit chester zoo as it is only 10 minutes away with the car.

Ate here last night. service is great, friendly staff and the pub itself is a really nice place. but eating is typical mass produced pub subscription. not insulting, but no originality and a bit of quality are missing. but still decent enough.
