We had booked. the food lasted over an hour and a half to get out, and we were the only people in the pub! (if the note came when the food arrived, it was the most subdued, overpriced meal I had ever had. it was impossible for me to give him two stars. I think the waiter who also did not know what was a guiness and black was also cooking a real shame as the pub is beautiful. bad eating, bad service and bad management. would not recommend. I'd rather have run 20 miles and found somewhere decent.

This charming rustic pub with friendly staff exudes a traditional countryside charm.

After a walk in the Teign valley, my family and I stopped at this restaurant for lunch. We were warmly welcomed, even our dog. The food and drinks were excellent, served quickly and presented beautifully with generous portions. The staff was courteous and the overall experience was highly recommended for both food and drink.

Good pint of Guinness, nice food the chef obviously takes pride in their work, the car park is across the road and the beer garden is cozy and pretty
