The Fitzroy - Charlottesville

Wonderful staff! We had the grilled Romaine Salad with Tofu. Delicious. The hand-cut frits and wine card was also great.

Wonderful place for great food and cocktails. Amazing staff, will absolutely visit again when in Charlottesville.

Excellent service, great food, and laid back atmosphere. Took a chance without reservations, and the staff were very accommodating and managed to get us a table. The food was great, the drinks were awesome, and the servers were amazing. Would recommend, 5/5, but I would also suggest reservations especially during the weekend.

Great service, all the waitresses were extremely attentive. The host greeted us warmly and sat us down even though we were early. The beverages were all terrific and neatly made. The Hemingway was my favorite. The food came out promptly for a large party and was delicious. Fried chicken was superb but the Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and broiled salmon were to die for. The salmon stole the show with perfect temp and texture as well as nice simple flavors that work great together.

This place is really nice and the downtown mall area is a great place to dine out with all the patio seating in the center of the mall. I got the chicken and waffles. It's a lot of food. The chicken is super good and tender. Of note, it does have some spice on it so if you aren't a fan of spicy you may want to ask for it without. The waffles were crunchy and good too.
