We revisited Las Fuentes after many years of absence and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement. The atmosphere in the now airy restaurant was very refreshing and the food quality was excellent. We ate early evening and the service was faultless. I would be happy to return to this restaurant. I love Spanish cuisine, and I had high hopes. Those declined slightly when I saw the menu, as it didn 't seem to have to traditional spread of Spanish tapas dishes. But I thought, well you know quality is the most important factor. Well, it was okay the food but not worth the cost and honestly of I wanted Spanish tapas, I would just travel a bit further into central to get the authentic which is everywhere. Also, the drinks menu is strange for a Spanish restaurant I mean there was one choice of wine for red, white or rose or sangria, and then there were pages of spirits and cocktails etc. just not typically Spanish at all. The food was not very good. The fried calamari was rubbery and had no taste. But the mixed Skewer was very nice. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
