New Spice Lounge - Central Bedfordshire

First time I have been in here for about 20 years. Friendly door staff, not overly helpful bar staff, not all of them but the one I spoke with because I couldn't read some of the bottle fridge drinks and she was very short, borderline rude, when answering questions. The decor does not appear to have been updated in decades. Still, drinks are relatively cheap and with a large outside seating area/car park it made for a pleasant couple of hours. I'm not sure if you can blame the clientele on the management...

We were visiting LB to see family during the day, so decided to stay the night. After a few drinks we decided on a curry and found ourselves in The New Spice Lounge. It was extremely busy and we were grateful to get a table, they seated us and immediately gave us menus and a drink. The service was impeccable with a great atmosphere. The food was outstanding and impressive as we are always cautious about eating curry in different area and environment. My husband had chicken, naga balti I had chicken naga jalfrezi was delicious. An absolute must try and a shame it’s 2hrs from us as we would definitely be regulars. Thank you The New Spice for looking after us so well.

I was recommended this restaurant but I regret listening to the recommendation. Upon arrival, the restaurant was cold and we had to keep our coats on. The waiter was rude and unfriendly, taking forever to take our order. The food took almost an hour to arrive, with some dishes being tasteless and poorly seasoned. There wasn't even a simple goodbye when we left.

Excellent service quality food friendly staff. Best Indian restaurant in Leighton Buzzard. Recommended

The service was outstanding, the food was fresh and delicious, and the dishes were delightful. The restaurant is very family-friendly. We will definitely be returning to try more of their delightful offerings.
