Amazing Italian wedding soup! I haven’t eaten in over 36 hours and this was paradise! Rich broth, and spinach that hasn’t been over cooked. Amazing! Thank you! Beware of the flu going around everyone!
This is why you don't judge a book by its cover... Or in this case don't a restaurant by its exterior (rather plain looking building). We went in for dinner and were immediately greeted and sat (I did reserve a table). The gentleman Chris immediately offered water and inquired about beverages. We ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and the Clams Linguini. Meals include soup or salad, I had the Italian Wedding soup and my guy had a garden salad. The salad was big and beautiful... The soup was amazing, very obviously homemade from a traditional Italian recipe, tender meatballs and the broth was perfect! Now for the meals... My eggplant Parm was served with spaghetti and homemade marinara. I don't even know if I can relate exactly how delicious it was!!! The Eggplant had a nice crisp and perfect chew to it. Eggplant is tricky, it has to be pre-soaked so as not to absorb the oil, this was done perfectly. The Mariana was so so good, chunky and thick, really just perfectly made. The Clams and Linguini was excellenty prepared, pasta slightly al dente, the sauce was seasoned perfectly. The kicker on this dish is the Italian sausage that was part of the dish. It is made by a local business using the owners personal recipe, wow just delicious!! You can tell that the owner puts his tradition and love into his food. Chris our waiter has old school server skill; attentive but not over the top, pre-bussed dishes, offered refills on drinks, he knew the menu well and clearly took great pride in his job. I rarely go out for Italian food, my family is from Sicily. I am only a 3rd generation American, my family brought their recipies over so I'm pretty picky and usually a bit let down by the places I've had Italian food in. Mangia Tutto was a surprising exception. There is a light spiciness to the sauces and sausage that took it to the next level. For dessert we shared a cannoli, with a light drizzle of raspberry and chocolate... Crunchy and sweet just as it should be! I really look forward to trying other dishes. Oh and very generous portions too!!
Food and service is amazing! Love that its here in the heart of downtown!
Delicious food and cocktails. Service was very friendly, but a staffing shortage caused delays. I will absolutely come back and bring friends.
