Katie's Country Kitchen - Carson City

Katies used to be good. Recently I had a new york steak, ask for A-1. None available, I ask the mgr. why they couldn't borrow some from Sharkey's or Bodines or get some from a local market. He said they would have to raise their prices. Bad answer. Food has down down hill in the 15 yrs I have gone into Katies. Dinner rolls have been hard like hockey pucks.

I wanted to go. The lady who took the order made it right. You made the food wrong. We demand that it be repaired. James the manager was extremely rude. He let them take off the ingredients, but not the rest of the food was contaminated because it was not restored. Then he touched the food and asked if it was right. We said no! And he was annoyed and screamed, if so, and so it was really loud in front of others. When we got the food back and it was right that he never realized it and gave us a dirty look, then went away. Can't recommend this place anymore. He must be pushed back.

My experience is always good. He just got out and he used to want food. Lol

Katies has your typical diner food, but her standout is her western burger. This is delicious and her chicken Fried Steak is also very good. Here too is the diner food. If you want high-end stuff, go next to the CVI Steak House. You have the best food in the valley...
