Juan's Mexican Grill Inside Comstock Casino

I understand the food is very good; however, every time I've gone to eat at restaurant, during their posted open hours, the restaurant was closed.

Have been going here for years food service has always been great. Unfortunately last time I was there both left something to be desired. New girl acted condescending even tho she didn't seem to know what she was doing. The food was great as usual except for the fact there was a twist tie under my food. So sad since usually everything is so great

Went there on a Tuesday and ordered their Taco special. For $5.99, you get 2 tacos and a choice of beer. The 2 tacos that I ordered were made with ground beef. I usually get my tacos in a soft flour/corn tortilla but Juans came pan fried which tasted amazing. It wasn't greasy but held up to the ground beef, cheese and lettuce. The bud light was refreshing. The complimentary chips were crispy and fresh. The accompanied salsa was on the spicy side but it enhanced my tacos. The service came with many smiles and refills. If I didn't live in Honolulu, I would be going back again and again.
